Job Description
In this newly created position at AFCA, you’ll have the chance to lead the future of fairness with AI. We’re looking for a Project Manager, AI Delivery to drive the end-to-end delivery of cutting-edge AI initiatives that support AFCA’s mission to deliver fair, ethical, and innovative outcomes for our members.

You’ll also play a key role in embedding ethical AI practices and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration across AFCA.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define AI use case objectives, scope, and deliverables with stakeholders
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and allocate resources
  • Potential to oversee GenAI architecture (LLM selection, prompt engineering, RAG design)
  • Ensure GenAI solutions meet performance, accuracy, and ethical standards
  • Lead cross-functional AI delivery teams
  • Identify and mitigate project risks
  • Manage internal/external resources and budgets
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders
  • Support change management for new processes/technologies
  • Gather and analyse business requirements for information management projects
  • Act as liaison between business units, tech teams, and project teams
  • Promote innovation, collaboration, and ethical AI practices
  • Perform other duties as required
    Qualifications

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in data, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Understanding of GenAI workflows including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, embedding systems and evaluation metrics
  • Familiarity with ethical AI and Data principles and regulatory considerations.
  • Ability to recognise the limitations of one’s knowledge and demonstrate a proactive approach to learning, including acquiring new skills and adapting to evolving technologies and methodologies.
  • Strong understanding and experience in project delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.
  • Experience working in financial services or regulatory environments is desirable.
