Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

Skyports are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead our Air Taxi project with the RTA and Joby Aviation.
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing Skyports’ vertiport development and operations activities in Dubai, coordinating diverse project teams and workstreams, providing regular reporting to internal and external stakeholders and ensuring timely delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Day-to-day management and coordination of project workstreams, defining project processes and ensuring team members understand their roles and responsibilities;
  • Acting as the main point of contact for the project;
  • Develop, implement and monitor project plans and timelines, ensuring project objectives are met within budget and schedule constraints;
  • Facilitate team meetings, project reviews, and risk assessments to ensure project goals are met while identifying and mitigating risks or bottlenecks;
  • Ensure that project risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated in a timely and effective manner;
  • Coordinate with the relevant discipline leads to monitor their progress and ensure accountability;
  • Monitor and report project progress to senior management, identifying any potential issues or delays and recommending corrective actions;
  • Manage project finances, including forecasting and tracking project expenses, and ensuring that costs are managed within budget constraints; and
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure project delivery.
