AMAR Group, LLC is looking to hire a new: Architectural Project Manager

Day-to-Day Duties Include:

  • Interface with Clients, Sub-Consultants, and Internal Team
  • Produce Schematic Drawings through Construction Documents for General Contractor pricing and/or for Permit Submission.
  • Manage small projects and team members from design to closeout with little supervision.

Common Duties Include:

  • Prepare scale drawings or architectural designs using Revit or AutoCAD.
  • Direct activities of technicians engaged in preparing drawings or specifications.
  • Create three-dimensional renderings and prepare Schematic Drawings using Photo-shop, InDesign or other format.
  • Prepare Contract Documents, specifications, permit-ready documents, material boards, equipment schedules, cost estimates, and project schedules.
  • Meet with clients to review architectural design and some community outreach.
  • Develop final Construction-ready designs including constructable details.
  • Conduct Construction Administration services including: periodic on-site observations of construction work to monitor compliance with plans; produce field reports, review RFI’s, review GC supplied submittals, produce architectural supplemental Instructions (ASI’s) and review monthly GC payment requisitions.
  • Coordinate architectural work with engineering teams.
  • Gather information related to projects’ environmental sustainability or operational efficiency. Work with sustainable consultant to produce sustainable design.
  • Design environmentally sound structural upgrades to existing buildings, such as natural lighting systems, green roofs, or rainwater collection systems.
  • Perform field observation and prepare existing conditions reports or other studies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 5 years’ experience
  • Knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
  • Attention to Detail
  • Understand DC and National Building Codes
  • Typical Office Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $78,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
