Job description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our team in the Amsterdam or Eindhoven area. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing one or more complex cross-functional projects.
This includes planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. The Project Manager will ensure that project teams complete tasks and deliverables and proceed to project milestones and gates according to plan and with a quality-first mindset.
Additionally, the Project Manager will serve as the interface between the project team and stakeholders, including resource managers and steering/governance committees.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical subject (Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field).
Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in highly regulated environments such as automotive, aerospace, pharmaceutical, medical devices, or semiconductors.
Proven success in leading complex projects from initiation to roll-out.
Proven experience in managing a team and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, with experience in Agile/Scrum/SAFe environments.
Excellent level of English in writing and speaking; Dutch language is a plus.
Leadership skills in building and leading project teams in a global, intercultural environment.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, including stakeholder management
Data-driven mindset with the ability to turn data into insights and structure information for leadership presentation.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Consumer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
Resource Management: Define competencies and resources needed, identify and manage project dependencies and critical path, and allocate resources effectively to ensure project success.
Team Leadership: Take leadership in building and leading a high-performing project team, including providing operational guidance and conflict management. Challenge team members to meet committed project deliverables and identify gaps in skills and performance during the project.
Budget Management: Manage project budgets, track project costs, and ensure projects are delivered within the approved budget.
Timeline Management: Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring that project milestones are met on time.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Regulations and Compliance: Maintain a strong understanding of regulations, compliance, and industry trends to ensure all projects adhere to necessary standards.
