POSITION SUMMARY

As an AVL Project Manager, you will be entrusted with leading the execution of AVL installation projects—from pre-construction planning through on-site implementation and final commissioning. Your role will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and clients while ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and true to the client’s vision. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership and tactical oversight, with a focus on collaboration, proactive problem-solving, and fostering team alignment in a fast-paced, dynamic environment—often on active construction sites where coordination with trades, timelines, and technical execution is key.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in managing AVL system design, construction, and installation projects with a focus on building strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities, with a solid understanding of project management principles such as budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts in ways that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments, ensuring alignment between design, technical, and client-facing teams.
  • A demonstrated ability to lead teams in fast-paced environments while maintaining focus on long-term success.
  • Certifications such as PMP or CTS are preferred but not required.
  • Ability to thrive in an ever-evolving, high-pressure environment with a focus on results and relationships.
Responsibilities
  • Strategic Project Leadership & Execution: Lead the strategic direction of AVL installations, ensuring projects meet scope, budget, and schedule while prioritizing the long-term success of the church and their unique needs.
  • Client Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a trusted partner, maintaining ongoing communication and alignment with clients, architects, engineers, vendors, and internal teams. Build relationships that foster collaboration, transparency, and shared success throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Process Optimization & Quality Assurance: Champion Amplio’s project management processes, ensuring each project meets or exceeds design expectations and client goals. Drive process improvements that elevate team performance and project outcomes.
  • Effective Communication & Collaboration: Provide regular, proactive updates to internal teams and clients, ensuring clear, transparent communication. Cultivate a collaborative culture across all project stakeholders to ensure alignment with goals and timelines.
  • Budget & Schedule Management: Take ownership of the financial and scheduling aspects of the project, ensuring resources are used efficiently, risks are managed, and adjustments are made as needed to maintain project momentum.
  • Problem Solving & Change Management: Guide teams through challenges and scope changes, maintaining alignment with stakeholders and ensuring that project goals are still met despite evolving circumstances.
  • Team Leadership & Resource Coordination: Provide leadership and mentorship to the project team, ensuring resources (human and material) are allocated efficiently. Foster a supportive environment where team members can excel and collaborate effectively.
  • Client Engagement & Site Visits: Actively engage with clients through site visits and meetings, cultivating relationships and ensuring client needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
