To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an experienced Project Manager located in Dundalk, Ireland site.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Manager role involves delivering projects to specification, on time, on schedule, in line with the company standards of Quality and Safety and to budget so as to maximize the profits of the company, while understanding of basic electrical principles and power distribution. You will have the responsibility to deliver complex technical products from design through manufacture test and on site commissioning with a value of 10’s of millions of euro per year.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Lead & drive a Project Team in terms of ownership, translating, managing & reporting all aspects of the project, while identifying necessary resources and assigning individual responsibilities where appropriate
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects and review deliverables prepared by the team before passing to client
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to required timescales & cost restrictions
  • Control, monitor and manage assigned projects to include regular reporting against plans & where necessary intervening to ensure a timely delivery
  • Ensure that project activities are coordinated with related projects & functional activities, so delays are avoided, and exposure and risk are minimized throughout the project
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately, while providing concise & accurate reports to the Head of Projects at monthly production meetings
  • Return monthly applications & invoicing to the financial team on time.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role, with a professional background in electrical or construction projects
  • The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and conscientious with a high standard of attention to detail.
  • They must be able to work accurately to deadlines in a busy and pressurized environment,
  • Demonstrate flexibility and have an understanding of basic electrical principles;
  • Eligible to work in Ireland (EU)
