OVERVIEW

We are looking for a talented and driven Project Manager to join our heavy civil construction firm based in southern Ontario. Our company specializes in sewer and watermain projects for both municipal and private clients. Our team’s expertise includes road construction, deep sewer installation in various ground conditions, and large-diameter watermain construction.

REQUIREMENTS

  • C.Tech., P.Eng., or CET Designation is mandatory.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in civil or construction Project Management.
  • Experience in budgeting, cost management, and scheduling for lump sum Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) projects exceeding $20 million.
  • Proficiency with MS Office specifically Microsoft Excel & MS Project (or similar) is required.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $100,000.00-$175,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Create, organize, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Lead and participate in all site and project team meetings with internal and external stakeholders to support ongoing project development and progress.
  • Develop and control budgets, schedules, change orders, and payments to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Prepare and compile time and material sheets, work orders, startup reports, notes, and photographs for billing purposes.
  • Oversee overall construction management, administration, and coordination of the project.
  • Implement procedures to monitor project progress, including conducting regular site meetings with subcontractors to review, coordinate, and manage work plans.
  • Prepare accurate and timely billing for owners and ensure subcontractor payments are processed promptly.
