Local unit and position description DNV – Maritime Region Greater China is looking for a project manager approval (PMA) who will be working in the Pre-contract & PMA section at Technical Centre China (TCC) that is located in Shanghai. TCC is the technological hub in this environment, providing plan approval and pre-contract services for newbuilding and maritime service. Besides, TCC also acts as the technical competence centre providing technical support to both internal and external clients. As PMA, you will report to the Head of Pre-contract & PMA section. Responsibilities Support pre-contract and sales activities such as bidding Complete control, initiation, planning, execution and close-out process related to PMA’s responsibility for NB plan approval Work closely with the sales organization and customer to ensure internal alignment on project expectations and deliverables Manage and execute the internal work order between the newbuilding region and global approval centers Coordination for smooth communication between internal and external parties Propose improvement opportunities where relevant and communicate to management when identify the critical issues. Support and involve into initiatives for key clients in terms of ship type.
Responsibilities
The Project Manager Approval (PMA) will support pre-contract and sales activities, manage the plan approval process, and ensure alignment on project expectations. The role involves coordinating communication between internal and external parties and proposing improvements when necessary.
