Description
The Applications team is looking for a dynamic project manager to provide specialized support to the greater EPM Apps team and facilitate operations for our cross-functional partners. DESCRIPTION We are looking for a highly organized, results-oriented individual with extensive experience in operational / project management. As a Project Manager for Apps and Services, you’ll work closely with the Apps team on key initiatives from concept through launch, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion. Work closely with the team to facilitate operations between product, engineering, marketing, design, and QA. Support product and business goals, using your expert skills to develop and implement processes as well as improve operations and communications in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Lead day-to-day progress of tasks and results and coordinate product requirements and cross-functional roadmaps while driving teams to meet commitments based on those plans. Represent the team’s strategic priorities and negotiate with partners across the organization to align schedules, priorities, and resources. Organize and lead meetings on behalf of the Product team, communicate regular updates, and track the completion of deliverables. Foresee and manage risks and dependencies, and work to ensure that roadblocks are removed and all open issues are resolved. You thrive in an ambiguous environment and are adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts. Stay detailed down to the granular level, while maintaining a high-level perspective of the project at hand. A successful Project Manager excels in program / project management, communicates with ease at all levels, is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts, leads through relationships and influence, has strong executive presence, and displays grace under pressure. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 5 years experience in Product Operations, Planning, or Project / Program Management experience; demonstrating increasing levels of operational responsibilities 5 years experience in social engineering, managing a variety of technical/functional domains 5 years experience in people management (minimum of 10 employees) 5 years experience in leading and managing technical x-functional teams and projects Track record of leading multiple complex, cross-functional projects; demonstrating a sense of urgency and ownership to drive issues to completion A history of driving partnerships and building relationships across teams Outstanding organizational skills; comfortable speaking to team members at all levels Comfortable in ambiguous situations and can brainstorm solutions in high-pressure situations Ability to anticipate and resolve problems while staying the course on overall business and project priorities Bachelor’s degree required in Business Management, Communications, Engineering, or a related subject area, or we may consider an equivalent industry experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience working with subscription businesses or consumer creative software products Understand technical issues at a sufficiently deep level to identify gaps Familiar with metrics, operations, and the complete software product lifecycle Experience working with product marketing / product management teams to develop and drive roadmaps Understand product strategy and can provide input to help drive cross-functional initiatives forward
