QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
First and foremost, you share our passion for improving quality of life. You are a seasoned project management professional with strong industry ties and demonstrated credibility in a client-side and consulting environment. You will come to us with:
- Experienced in the project management of Zero Emission Vehicle Fleet Transition projects, or charging infrastructure.
- Extensive client-side project management experience, delivering transportation infrastructure with government agencies.
- Experienced in the full project lifecycle from design and development, through to construction and commissioning.
- Demonstrated commercial capability, with a clear grasp of project commercial management, familiarity with contract management and the ability to assess risk.
- A focus on building collaborative and influential relationships both internally and externally.
- The ability to effectively manage project set-up, mobilisation, risk management and change management during project delivery to ensure positive project outcomes.
- Prior experience working for an internationally recognised Project Management Consultancy or similar.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Hold certifications such as those from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM)
Responsibilities:
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Our rapidly growing Project and Program Management team (PPM) is currently engaged on many of Australia’s largest transport infrastructure projects totalling over $30 Billion. With Arcadis’ global and local expertise in Zero Emission Bus fleet transition projects we are looking for our next client-side Project Manager for upcoming projects in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Lead and manage complex projects as the primary client interface.
- Ensure delivery of project objectives aligned with the Project Management Plan and following the Client or Arcadis’ project methodology.
- Manage the project across all phases, from design and development, procurement, construction, commissioning, and defect liability period.
- Provide expertise in Zero Emission Vehicle related infrastructure and procurement and PPM services to support broader Arcadis projects.
- Identify and secure necessary project management, technical services, and external resources from both Client and Arcadis teams.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks.
- Foster collaboration among all parties involved, establishing a culture of trust, high performance, and accountability.
- Develop, review and update project plans, specifications, scheduling, costs, and potential issues throughout the project duration.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with all project stakeholders.
- Drive project performance, service delivery, technical coordination, and commercial outcomes.
- Contribute to bids, tenders, marketing, and industry forums as required.
