JOB DESCRIPTION

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of technology and business initiatives aligned with client objectives. This role entails managing the full delivery lifecycle of projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet schedule, scope, and budget expectations. The PM will serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholder communication and reporting, including interfacing with senior leadership at the United States Military Academy (USMA).
The PM will lead Agile delivery efforts, facilitate sprint planning sessions, and oversee the maintenance of project backlogs. They will define and maintain project roadmaps, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure that all project artifacts comply with organizational standards and DoD requirements. The PM will also manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with solution architects, developers, and business analysts, and ensure alignment between technical execution and business goals.
The Project Manager must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, a strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform solutions, and a proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments within a government or military context.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee project governance, ensuring adherence to project standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., DoDM 8140.03).
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups).
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and maintain continuous communication with USMA leadership.
  • Monitor project progress and produce regular status reports, executive briefings, and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Track deliverables, issues, and dependencies, and drive resolution of blockers.
  • Lead efforts to continuously improve project delivery processes and team performance.

    Pay: $150,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
