The full-time Project Manager Assistant position is based out of our Bolton office at 27 Nixon Road. This role typically observes a Monday- Friday work schedule from 7:30am to approximately 4:30pm. This position is required to participate in a rotating on-call schedule for 24/7 Emergency Restoration Services.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Post secondary education in a construction/ project management related program is strongly preferred
  • Strong construction knowledge
  • Experience working in or with the trades considered an asset
  • Access to personal vehicle and a good driving record
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic with an attention to detail
  • Able to work effectively and accurately in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as a team
  • Knowledge of Xactimate, PSA and Encircle is an asset
Responsibilities
  • Assist with creating project budgets and issuing purchase orders
  • Utilize Microsoft Project and Restoration specific software to input project schedules and scopes
  • Plan, organize, and oversee residential home building/ renovation activities with the support of senior Project Managers
  • Consult with clients, architects, and engineers on plans and specifications
  • Maintain a directory of suppliers and subcontractors
  • Select, hire, and supervise subcontractors for specialized work (e.g., plumbing, heating, electrical)
  • Coordinate subcontractor schedules and inspect work to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
  • Manage and support material selection and delivery
  • Assist Senior Project Managers in addressing site issues
  • Potential to oversee small projects independently
  • Participate in rotating on-call schedule for 24/7 Emergency Restoration Services
  • Other duties as required
