Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Project Manager Assistant in Montgomery, AL for a direct hire opportunity with our client. As a trusted partner in the construction industry, we connect top talent with top companies across the United States.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25 to $30 Per Hour BOE

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–2 years of administrative or project support experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello) a plus.
  • Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • PMP or similar certification preferred but not required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be aware of OSHA safety standards
  • Maybe exposed to heights and loud noises
  • May need to occasionally climb stairs and/or ladders.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, and bending
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Travel to job sites may be required.
  • Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions
    Pay Transparency
    The anticipated salary range for this position is $25 to $30 Per Hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Manager with day-to-day administrative and coordination tasks.
  • Maintain project schedules, timelines, and task lists, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Prepare and distribute project-related documentation, reports, and meeting notes.
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Track and monitor project deliverables, milestones, and budgets under direction.
  • Assist in organizing meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and following up on action items.
  • Support procurement, resource allocation, and other project logistics as needed.
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up to date, and stored properly.
  • Identify potential issues or delays and promptly escalate them to the Project Manager.
