WHO YOU ARE:

We are looking for a project manager in TWC’s Division of Information Innovation and Insight (I|3). The division supports the agency’s mission by leveraging data to improve decision-making and service efficiency. That is, we leverage Data for Prosperity.
The project manager will facilitate and coordinate project meetings, identify overall project scope, while working closely with Business Analysts to understand report requirements within each project. The project manager will create, maintain, and analyze Risks, Activities, Issues, and Decisions (RAID) through each project life cycle, as well as develop schedules, work plans, and resource requirements for I|3 projects.
Our ideal candidate is a self-starting, motivated, and collaborative problem solver who understands the value of teamwork, critical thinking, attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and data analysis to assist in management of TWC programs.
Candidates must be enthusiastic about working collaboratively with teammates, TWC staff, and other state agency staff to deliver accurate information on deadline to a wide variety of stakeholders, including other State Agencies and Local Workforce Development Areas (LWDA).

YOU QUALIFY WITH:

  • Four years of full-time experience in project management work, business analysis, or project administration; or four years of full- time experience in the oversight of an agency program or in strategic planning and policy implementation.
  • Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.
