JOIN OUR TEAM AS A PROJECT MANAGER AT AVIDITY SCIENCE!

Are you passionate about project management and eager to contribute to a dynamic and progressive company? Avidity Science is looking for a dedicated Project Manager to join our team on a 1-year fixed term basis to cover a period of maternity leave.
To be successful in your application, you will need to have demonstrable experience in the MEP trade and be located in a commutable distance from our company offices (HP18 9BA). You will have experience managing sub-contractors and reviewing contract requirements related to installations of physical equipment and associate infrastructures. You will need a full driving license and a car for this role as you will need to travel to various customer sites on a regular basis.
This is a unique opportunity to manage complex client projects and ensure their successful delivery.

Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to scope, price, and document projects.
  • Conduct site visits for surveys and detailed planning.
  • Manage contracts, subcontractors, and all project documentation.
  • Lead project kick-off calls and maintain schedules, budgets, and milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with customer and internal requirements.
  • Provide weekly updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee project delivery from initiation to customer handover and support transition.
  • Handle post-acceptance actions and ensure accurate project closure.
  • Manage project progress using ERP software.

What We’re Looking For:

  • An industry applicable degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in Laboratory Research, Healthcare, or Life Sciences (pure water experience is a plus).
  • Chemical or Mechanical Engineering background an advantage
  • French and/or German language skills are an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Commercial and contractual awareness.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., Prince2, PMP) is advantageous.
  • CSCS card.
  • Ability to travel to customer locations across UK and Europe.
  • Driving license and own transport
