JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and drive various projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of project management methodologies, including Kanban and Waterfall. This role requires effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation and delivery.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We need more profiles here who are based in Montreal. This role will require 1 in-person interview and need to onsite work in the project.
They can be intermediate level around 6-10 years of experience. PMP certified will be huge plus. Need not be highly technical but should have experience in collaborating with larger teams and executing complex projects.
The Project Manager must have worked with Banking and Financial institutions before who will be responsible but not limited to plan, execute, and oversee IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet specified requirements. They act as a liaison between business needs and technical solutions, managing resources and communicating with stakeholders.

    This role is for our desktop application that has been around for 20 yrs. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer with over 15 yrs experience to join our dynamic team. The project scope involves understanding modules written in C++/CLI and Windows and converting it to platform independent or using an abstraction layer to run on Linux. This role is NOT traditional a web, or full-stack developer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Project Planning: Develop project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
· Execution and Monitoring: Oversee project execution, track progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure adherence to project plans.
· Team Leadership: Lead and guide project teams, assigning tasks, providing support, and resolving conflicts.
· Communication: Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders, including management, team members, and clients.
· Resource Management: Manage project resources, including budget, time, and personnel.
