- Effectively manage stakeholders by maintaining strong relationships and implementing
robust project management and control disciplines to meet Council’s expectations and
deliver high-quality services.
- Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government
agencies, contractors, ratepayers, residents, and visitors, to ensure successful project
delivery and completion.
- Develop comprehensive project briefings, prepare tender documentation and reports, and
oversee project management activities for Council projects.
- Assist the Director with tender submissions by preparing detailed reports and supporting
documentation.
- Ensure all project work complies with relevant legislation, regulations, Australian standards,
and Council policies.
- Contribute to the successful implementation and fulfillment of the Regional Plan’s
objectives.

7. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA – QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
- A track record of successfully managing multiple ($2 to $5 million) projects with
demonstrated experience (minimum 3 years) in Project Management. - Demonstrated experience in successfully reporting to Council, Government Departments or
Board, with appropriate written and oral briefings and presentations. - Understanding or the ability to quickly become familiar with, all relevant local government,
funded programs, and other relevant legislation, bylaws, and organisational policies. - Prepare project plans that include milestones to identify risks and opportunities.
