This is a hybrid role.

Candidate must have to work in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month.

Rate: $70/hour (or equivalent salary target of approximately $115,000)

Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development and execution of detailed integrated project plans across multiple technology and business delivery streams. The successful candidate will have a proven track record managing complex technology implementations and business transformation initiatives while coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

This role requires a highly organized professional with exceptional planning capabilities who can effectively manage complex dependencies, drive project execution, and ensure successful delivery in a hybrid Waterfall/Agile environment.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience leading technology implementations and business transformation initiatives.
• Strong experience creating and managing detailed integrated project plans in complex environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, interdependencies, and competing priorities.
• Experience delivering projects using Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional business and technology teams.
• Strong risk management, issue resolution, and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within Financial Services, Insurance, or regulated industries.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or equivalent Project Management certification.
• Experience managing large-scale business transformation and technology modernization initiatives.
