Description Project Manager of Voice Radio and Communication (Microwave) Tower Modernization Projects Key Responsibilities • Lead large, complex strategic projects, assuming accountability for delivering results • Manage projects, including company and External resources • Develop project plans, budgets, scope, timelines, outcomes, and deliverables using company's PMO tools and templates • Collaborate with stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define project goals, deliverables, and timelines. • Act as a liaison between technical teams, operational teams, and executive stakeholders. • Communicate technical concepts and progress to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. • Ensure system reliability and security are addressed during the planning and execution phases. • Execute procurement and contracting activities, tracking, and reporting according to company's policies and procedures. • Identify, manage, and resolve inter-project/program dependencies, working with other PMs and company's stakeholders • Conduct analyses to estimate and track project costs and budgets • Define resource requirements and negotiate availability with resource managers • Manage vendor relationships to align vendor schedules, costs, and deliverables with the overall project plan • Ensure alignment of technical solutions with organizational objectives and compliance requirements. • Establish, maintain, and update project risk log. Resolve project issues and escalate as appropriate • Manage project change control and follow existing policies • Ensure project-related documentation is accurate and complete Requirements • Master's degree in business, technology or related field preferred • 7+ years of progressive project management leadership experience • Thorough knowledge of project and program management theories, models, and techniques • Experience managing a program or volume of projects with competing schedules • Demonstrated success applying project management concepts and techniques across large, mission-critical projects/programs • Strong communication and presentation skills across all levels of the organization • Demonstrated analytical skills, including problem solving and critical thinking, with attention to detail • Ability to facilitate meetings and manage difficult conversations with tact and diplomacy • Ability to gain and maintain credibility at all levels of the organization • Understanding of business process improvement and change management desired • PMI or equivalent certification preferred
