Description
Board Intelligence is Europe's largest board technology and advisory firm, trusted by more than 80,000 leaders across the Fortune 500, FTSE 100, and OMX 30. We transform how boards work through AI-powered software and services that improve the efficiency of board processes and the effectiveness of boards. In 2024, we secured substantial investment from K1 Investment Management, a leading B2B Enterprise SaaS investor, positioning us for our next phase of significant growth. We're expanding our product portfolio, deepening our market presence, and building the team that will define the future of board transformation technology. As we scale, we're fiercely protective of what makes us special: brilliant people who care deeply about the work, operate with a collaborative mindset, and are genuinely motivated by our mission to help decision-makers build better businesses that benefit society. If you thrive in environments where ambition meets purpose, you'll feel right at home. The Role As a Project Manager at Board Intelligence, you’ll use your expertise to steer the team and drive complex projects from start to finish. You’ll work with engineers, leaders and other stakeholders to scope and refine objectives, manage project schedules, identify risks and enable clear communication. You're equally comfortable discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers as you are to explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives. This role is to work with both of our Foundations Engineering team - who focus will be on common application capabilities and the dev experience - and our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team - who focus on infrastructure platform capabilities and overall site reliability. The goals of these two teams are closely aligned. Main Responsibilities Provide visibility for all stakeholders on priorities, progress, dependencies and blockers and work through the implications with your team(s) and the wider Engineering leadership team Take responsibility for delivery of the team(s)' work, identifying opportunities or issues in active and planned projects and working through the implications with the wider Engineering leadership team. Help prioritise key milestones or projects needed to deliver your team's objectives and ensure all stakeholders are aligned around these. Push continuous improvement with a focus on enhancing the delivery and flow of value. Ensures accurate and well thought technical documents are produced as part of a project by either reviewing engineers writing or helping to write up where necessary. Required Skills and Experience Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‐technical individuals and a wide range of stakeholders. Can align their team around common goals, articulate clear outputs and drive the team or individuals towards specific desirable outcomes. Can work under pressure whilst balancing multiple competing objectives. Can manage and prioritise multiple tasks, milestones and projects across the team. Is self-driven and constantly striving to improve - be it through self, coaching, automation or process improvements. Demonstrates and promotes positive attitudes and behaviours, such as collaboration, learning, sharing, respect and motivation. What experience and skills might you have We care more about attitude and aptitude over a shopping list of qualifications and experience; many of our engineers have joined with the right attitude and transferable skills and developed their skills and career with us. However, some experience and skills that would help you in this role include: Experience leading projects as a Technical Project/Product/Program Manager or Infrastructure/Software Engineer. Experience delivering mid/large-scale initiatives, possibly across multiple teams. Strong solid understanding/experience of Agile practices including Scrum, Kanban. Project Management, Agile or Scaled Agile certification(s). Experience with technical writing and or reviewing technical designs We pride ourselves on our great working environment and package. Here is some of what's on offer: Hybrid work pattern (3 days onsite, 2 from home) Holiday and Sickness Pay Mandatory Pension scheme: 4.5% PRGF Health insurance via Swan Insurance Personal group accident cover
