An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Managerto join one of Nottingham’s largest plumbing and heating companies.
This will be a varied role with the responsibility of delivering plumbing works on time and in budget. This will include but not be limited to organising and liaising
with subcontractors on a daily basis, booking in works with tenants, scheduling deliveries, site visits to check works and carry out compliance and snagging lists, overseeing health and safety on site.
THE CANDIDATE
While plumbing experience is not imperative a knowledge and background of building and plumbing works would be a huge advantage.
We are looking for a highly motivated, organised individual with excellent communication skills and a can do attitude. You will need a lot of common sense, be comfortable working on your own and multitasking. Attention to detail is important along with a hands-on approach.
The key criteria are:
· Outstanding common sense and self sufficiency
· Excellent communication skills
· Highly organised and able to multitask
· Working computer knowledge
· Exceptional attention to detail
· Plumbing/gas experience not required but knowledge would be an advantage
· A team player
This is a full time role within a dynamic and enjoyable office setting, hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday with the expectation that calls will be dealt with out of hours too. We are an approachable team who offer support and training.

Reporting to the Director of the business the role will involve a multitude of tasks within this busy office and on site.
Duties will include;
· Ordering parts to site and keeping on track of deliveries
· Allocating work to engineers
· Monitoring and administration of engineers compliance and work completion
· Liaising with customers
· Liaising and developing relationships with suppliers and manufacturers
· Carrying out snagging lists and completing work to pass requirements
Health and safety compliance
You will be expected to implement new and effective ways of working.
You will be the first line of contact with our engineers so the ability to develop and nurture relationships is vital.
