GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Biovire is hiring a Project Manager to coordinate work toward effectively delivering customer products in a fast-paced environment. The PM will act as the primary contact between customers, CMO project team members, and functional groups to track progress and ensure the delivery of quality products and services. The PM will utilize best practices and Biovire standards to build project timelines for critical milestones.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred with 1-2 years in Project Management.
Minimum qualification of a B.S. degree in Engineering/Science or equivalent

Responsibilities

A Project Manager is a member of the Pharmaceutical Technologies team, responsible for the project management of technical transfer activities of manufacturing processes to the Biovire facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate work with customers, supporting biopharmaceutical/pharmaceutical development, clinical and ultimately commercial manufacturing goals.
2. Collaborate with business development and technical representatives to transition customer project work in-house.
3. Prepare detailed project schedules, including identification of major milestones for overseeing, controlling, communicating, and managing all activities required to complete customer projects.
4. Ensure that project deliverables are customer focused, results oriented, performance driven, and in compliance with all applicable internal and external requirements.
5. Monitor project costs through preparation and regular project updates with management and customers.
6. Monitor projects and help resolve issues or escalate appropriately to ensure on time delivery of all customer projects and help identify risk mitigation plans.
7. Must have excellent oral and written communications, ensuring excellent stakeholder management throughout various levels of the organization and with customers and customer team members.
8. Must work and interact effectively with and for others to achieve company goals.
9. Collaborate with site leadership to mitigate projects risks and address issues that arise over the course of project execution.
10. Must support site financial goals and objectives by ensuring timely communication and scheduling of manufacturing and services demand, forecasting processes, and invoicing of project deliverables.
