PROJECT MANAGER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· 10+ years of relevant work experience in IT, technical field, with project management.
· Project management and leadership skills for managing projects and cross-functional project teams
· Ability to identify risks, anticipate challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles with mitigations and contingencies
· Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills
· Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
· Problem-solving and decision-making skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues
· Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during project completion
· Organization and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget
· Excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills
· Organizational and time management skills, and high degree of attention to details
· Experience mentoring, and coaching people on project management methodologies
· bachelor’s degree in fields of business or management, information technology, engineering or operations
· Project management certifications such as the Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute, or equivalent.
· Knowledge of various project management methodologies (e.g., waterfall, agile, scrum) and high tech industry experience a plus
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
