Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Business Improvement Manager (BI PM) is responsible for leading initiatives that will support RDA’s operational efficiency and support continual improvement. The BI PM will collaborate heavily with stakeholders of all levels across the business to drive project success. The initial focus for this role will be the development of RDA key/core processes but this role will manage several other key business objectives.

As Project Manager – Business Improvement, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:

  • Define project scope(s), objectives and deliverables;
  • Develop project plans, timelines and resource allocation to support detailed project planning and resourcing;
  • Identify key milestones, dependencies and critical path topics;
  • Assemble and coordinate cross functional teams to provide input into project(s);
  • Track project budget(s) and create reporting and/or approval packs if required;
  • Identify and manage risks within project(s); and
  • Conduct user reviews, User Acceptance Testing and ensure sign off where relevant.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

  • Solid experience in project management in complex environments;
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline; Engineering or Business;
  • Highly developed stakeholder management and facilitation skills;
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies such as LEAN;
  • Experience in developing metrics and reports;
  • Ability to travel internationally and interstate, when required; and
  • Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required)
