Description The National Pork Board (NPB) is seeking a Project Manager, Business Intelligence to support the planning, coordination, and execution of business intelligence (BI) initiatives across the organization. This role provides visibility across BI projects to help manage workflows, priorities, resources, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy, BI strategy, and Board of Director priorities. The Project Manager partners with internal teams, contractors, and strategic partners to guide day-to-day execution of BI work, remove barriers, and support transparent, mission-aligned delivery of projects and insights. This role helps manage complex initiatives, anticipate project needs and what it takes to deliver on time and on budget, long-term planning, and ongoing resourcing in a transparent, mission-aligned manner. Requirements Project Coordination & Execution Manage BI projects from initiation through implementation. Develop and maintain project plans, scopes of work, timelines, and resourcing plans. Track deliverables, risks, dependencies, and milestones to ensure timely, on-budget delivery. Support DACI or RACI models to clarify roles and accountability. Lead recurring BI check-ins and facilitate project meetings. Stakeholder & Communication Support Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and partners across departments. Provide clear project updates and reporting for leadership, BI teams, and board-level audiences. Build consensus and drive progress through influence and collaboration. Business Intelligence Delivery Support Monitor and route BI-related requests for data, analytics, and insights. Partner with analysts and technical teams to support delivery of dashboards, reports, and insights. Help ensure BI deliverables meet governance, data quality, and reporting standards. Support prioritization of short-term reporting needs and long-term strategic initiatives. Process, Tools & Governance Identify and support improvements to BI project workflows and processes. Contribute to project management standards, templates, and best practices. Use tools such as Wrike and Microsoft Teams to manage work, documentation, and communication. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, experience (Marketing, Communications, Project Management, Business, or related field preferred). 3–5 years of experience in project management or project coordination. Experience supporting cross-functional teams and managing the project lifecycle. Working knowledge of DACI or RACI models and project management tools (Wrike preferred). Preferred: Experience in a marketing or advertising agency, nonprofit, association, or board-governed organization. Exposure to business intelligence, analytics, or data-driven reporting environments. Experience working with vendors or external partners. Skills & Abilities Strong skill in breaking down complex projects into practical, actionable components that support clarity and momentum across the team. Clear written and verbal communication. Ability to manage multiple priorities with limited resources. Collaborative, mission-driven mindset. Attention to detail and commitment to accountability. National Pork Board’s home office is in Clive, Iowa. Preference will be given to candidates that can work a hybrid schedule (at least 3 days per week) in the Clive office, however remote candidates may be considered. Up to 30% travel for meetings, project kickoffs, and occasional conferences. Valid driver’s license and/or passport required. Please note: This starting range is based on a general market pay assessment. However, individual salary decisions take into account a variety of factors including but not limited to: business and local market considerations, internal equity, and overall candidate skills, education and experience.
