The American Heart Association is thrilled to have an outstanding opportunity for a Project Manager, Business Operations at our National Center office in Dallas, TX. This position can be home-based.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Three (3) years of experience in project management.
  • Excellent organizational skills, project management skills, and attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and perform well during increased workload.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and/or Salesforce CRM is preferred.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma Process Improvement preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% nationally with overnight stay.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage projects focused on process improvement, operational efficiency, and strategic growth.
  • Perform project management duties including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing assigned projects as needed and assigned.
  • Work closely with business and BT teams to implement standardized tools, workflows, and reporting structures.
  • Support the development and implementation of project tracking, reporting, and accountability frameworks.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to improve overall efficiency.
  • Facilitate project kickoffs, checkpoints, and close-outs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Assist in the development of dashboards, reporting tools, and data-driven insights to improve decision-making.
  • Support the roll-out of new initiatives, business models, and operational enhancements.
  • Maintain oversight of project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
  • Establish trusting, open, motivating, and influential relationships with colleagues as a foundation for monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
