Description
We are looking for a hands-on Project Manager to drive regulatory initiatives and new product implementations within Global Markets & Treasury, with a strong focus on Calypso-based projects, Risk & Finance regulatory change, and complex credit derivative implementations. The role owns end-to-end delivery from initiation to closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and regulatory compliance, while managing dependencies across business, IT, vendors, and regulators. Key ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery & Execution Own end-to-end delivery of Global Markets & Treasury projects (Regulatory + New Products) Drive Calypso implementations and enhancements across Risk, Finance, and Front Office workflows Manage delivery across Credit Derivatives, structured products, and complex instruments Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, timelines, and budgets Track progress across sprints / phases and ensure adherence to agreed quality metrics Proactively manage scope change, risks, issues, and dependencies Regulatory & Risk Initiatives Lead regulatory-driven projects involving Risk, Finance, and Compliance teams Ensure alignment with internal governance, audit, and central bank regulations Coordinate with Risk & Finance stakeholders on regulatory interpretations and delivery impacts Ensure documentation, controls, and audit readiness throughout the lifecycle Stakeholder & Dependency Management Act as the primary point of contact for business, IT, vendors, and PMO Run SteerCo, project board, and stakeholder meetings Resolve cross-team dependencies across Trading, Risk, Finance, Operations, and Technology Escalate delivery risks decisively with mitigation plans Governance & Reporting Maintain project plans, RAID logs, dependencies, assumptions, and constraints Provide clear MIS, status reports, and executive dashboards Ensure compliance with PMO, QMS, Risk, and Audit standards Track budget utilisation (Planned vs Actual) Team & Vendor Management Manage internal delivery teams and external vendors Ensure resources are onboarded, productive, and contractually compliant Drive accountability, execution discipline, and delivery focus Required Skills & ExperienceMust-Have 8+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager in Banking / Financial Services Strong exposure to Global Markets & Treasury projects Experience delivering Calypso-based initiatives (implementation, upgrades, regulatory change) Solid understanding of Capital Markets products, especially: Credit Derivatives Fixed Income / Structured Products Proven experience managing regulatory projects involving Risk & Finance Strong stakeholder management and dependency resolution skills Execution-focused mindset — drives outcomes, not just governance Excellent communication (senior stakeholders, business & tech) Good to Have Experience with Agile / Hybrid / Waterfall delivery models Exposure to risk engines, valuation, P&L, collateral, or regulatory reporting Prior experience in large enterprise or Tier-1 bank environments Education & Certification Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Finance, or related field PMP / PRINCE2 or equivalent Project Management certification (preferred) Tools & Environment Project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Confluence) Strong working knowledge of MS Office Enterprise banking technology landscape
