We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead and deliver capital projects within healthcare estates. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a dedicated team within the Technical and Capital Directorate, helping to shape and improve healthcare environments across the region.
As Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards - supporting clinical services and enhancing patient care.

ABOUT YOU:

  • We are looking for a collaborative and highly organised individual with:
  • Proven project management experience within complex environments.
  • A degree or recognised qualification in Project Management, Building, or Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
  • Full membership of a relevant professional institution (e.g., CIOB, RICS, RIBA, IHEEM, CIBSE).
  • A strong track record of delivering estates or facilities projects, ideally within the NHS or public sector.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and other Office tools.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage capital projects up to £10 million in value across Trust estates.
  • Ensure compliance with HTMs, statutory regulations, CDM regulations, and BREEAM standards.
  • Liaise with clinicians and stakeholders to develop and deliver technical solutions that meet operational and clinical requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate internal and external consultants including architects, engineers, and surveyors.
  • Monitor project budgets, produce business cases, and ensure delivery to agreed KPIs and timelines.
