Description
Job Summary: If you love turning big ideas into real-world results, this is your stage. As a Project Manager at Centrus Energy, you’ll be the conductor of complex projects—balancing scope, schedule, people, and dollars to deliver mission-critical work safely, on time, and on budget. From early concept through final execution, you’ll lead teams, solve tough problems, negotiate smart deals, and keep leaders confidently informed every step of the way. This role is perfect for a driven, detail-loving leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-impact environments. What You Will Do: You will manage projects from cradle to completion by developing scopes, schedules, staffing plans, and cost estimates while ensuring performance stays aligned with budget and timeline commitments. You’ll build and maintain full project plans, progress and earned value reports, and performance dashboards using Centrus’ project controls systems. You’ll coordinate internal and external resources, lead periodic project reviews, adjust staffing and materials as needed, implement corrective actions to keep projects on track, lead contract negotiations, conduct lessons-learned reviews to drive continuous improvement, and consistently communicate status to senior leadership and key stakeholders. We’d Love to Hear From People With: * A Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related technical field * 2+ years of project management and/or people management experience * Strong financial, analytical, and communication skills * The ability to obtain and maintain a “Q” clearance.   A Successful Candidate Brings: * Project Management Professional (PMP) certification * Strong contract negotiation skills * A track record of delivering projects on time and within budget * An active or previously held Q-level security clearance   In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. This position will require a pre-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test. Centrus Energy and all subsidiaries shall abide by the applicable legal requirements. We prohibit discrimination against qualified individuals based on their status as protected veterans or individuals with disabilities and prohibit discrimination against all individuals based on their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin. This position requires the successful candidate to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance.  Candidates for positions requiring a security clearance are required to be tested for the absence of any illegal drug as defined in 10 CFR 707.4 prior to an offer of employment being made.  In addition, once employed, employees will become part of a random drug testing program and may also be tested in the event of any incident causing injury or causing damage to property, or if it is determined that there is a reasonable suspicion the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.  This position will require preemployment background check on the part of the Company and in order to receive a Q security clearance, a background investigation by the Federal government.  Subsequent Federal government reinvestigations may be required.
