L.A. Turbine, a Chart Industries Company is currently seeking for an on-site Project Manager based in Valencia, CA. The Project Manager will be responsible for all stages of the job from initiation of the contract to job close.The Project Manager oversees the engineering, design and manufacturing of awarded contracts. YOUR EDUCATION SHOULD BE…

Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineer or Similar
CAPM or PMP Certification and Lean Six Sigma is a plus

YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE SHOULD BE…

Proven work experience as a Junior Project Manager or similar role
3-4 years of related experience in project management/manufacturing, from conception to delivery
Solid organizational skills, including multi-tasking and time management.
Flexible and able to respond to demanding customers and adapt to change quickly and easily with a positive attitude.
Attention to detail, and thoroughness in accomplishing a task.
Ability to plan for upcoming problems or opportunities and take appropriate action.
Negotiation skills – ability to explore positions and alternatives to reach outcomes that gain acceptance of all parties.
Demonstrate a high level of dependability in all aspects of the project.
Excellent analytical, fast learner, problem-solving skills
Develop cooperation and teamwork, cross functional teams interfacing, and ability to influence all levels across the organization.
Customer service (both internal and external organization) oriented, people-oriented, professionalism
Experience with turbomachinery: turboexpanders, rotating equipment and/or compressors preferred.
Advanced administrative skills
Project management with JDE ERP system experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Adobe Acrobat, and PC skills
