Description
Work with your project team to develop Si, SiC power semiconductor technologies that improve energy efficiency in a wide range of applications, including renewable energies and e-mobility. Manage projects from start to finish: clarify objectives, develop and execute project schedules, and identify risks to define effective response strategies. Coordinate the work of your multi-cultural team members and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines to drive alignment, consensus, and impact. Credibly represent your team, communicate your project status to leadership, and build relationships with project stakeholders. Create and maintain technology specifications that meet future efficiency requirements, identify technology trade-offs, and keep an overview of the wider product and application landscape. Define design and process experiments for our world-leading power semiconductor fabs, analyses factory-scale data, plan engineering sample verification, and document and report results. Go deep into the technical details of your projects, address critical deviations, and drive the resolution of cross-functional issues. Have the freedom to explore new concepts and develop innovative solutions for power semiconductor technologies. You are self-motivated and enjoy working on development projects at the leading edge of semiconductor technologies. Your open communication style allows you to successfully collaborate with colleagues. Your structured working style helps you to remain aware of the big picture and drive project success. A degree in electrical engineering, semiconductor physics, or similar technical field, a PhD is a plus. At least 5 years of professional experience in the semiconductor field, ideally in technology development, thereof 3 years as a project manager. Experience in working on projects or in project management of (sub-)projects. A good understanding of power electronic device physics, wafer technology development and industrial semiconductor manufacturing. The ability to structure problems, anticipate problems, make well-reasoned decisions, and follow through on them. An ability to filter and distil relevant information for the right audience and are equally comfortable in a technical discussion or providing a status update to senior leadership. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams. Strong English language skills.
