Description
  • Competitive salary and associated benefits
  • Opportunity to autonomously manage a diverse range of projects
  • Strong mentoring from an experienced team

A growing SEQ engineering consultancy is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its Sunshine Coast team.

Working alongside the Principal Team Leader, and closely with Designers and Draftees, you'll play a key role in managing the day-to-day delivery of a range of medium-size and quick turnaround projects.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating projects and managing client relationships, understands construction and could come from a background in traffic engineering, civil design or civil engineering.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing the day-to-day delivery of civil projects
  • Coordinating designers, drafters and external consultants
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders
  • Liaising with councils, contractors and approval authorities
  • Supporting project administration and project delivery activities
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
  • Building strong, long-term client relationships through responsiveness and reliability

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is highly responsive and dependable
  • Communicates well with clients and stakeholders
  • Follows through on commitments
  • Enjoys coordinating people and projects
  • Wants to continue learning and developing professionally
  • Has experience working with local councils and approval processes
  • Is motivated to work towards RPEQ registration

What's On Offer?

  • Competitive salary and associated benefits
  • Strong mentoring from an experienced team
  • Clear pathway toward RPEQ registration
  • Opportunity to autonomously manage a diverse range of projects
  • Supportive and collaborative team environment

If you're looking to move away from being pigeonholed in a corporate office or design-focused role, and interested in a role with real autonomy for you to manage projects that make a difference to the community, build client relationships and take ownership of delivery outcomes, then this role is for you.
