The Goals and Challenges of this Role: * Ongoing customer contact to ensure that the correct information is received and then translated so that the fabrication team will be successful in the build * Preparing work instructions to build fabrications that include burning, forming, welding, and machining * Expediting jobs through the build process * Reviewing and understanding code and contract requirements * Analyze inquiries to determine requirements for preparation of quote * Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements * Maintain sales orders and jobs in ERP System (Epicor) What You Should Bring to this Role: * Minimum of an Associates Degree (Bachelors preferred) * Experienced in reading and analyzing drawings, technical documents and specifications * Analytical skills – accurately evaluate detailed specifications * Time management skills – fixed deadlines on multiple projects * Experienced in reading and analyzing drawings, technical documents and specifications. * Background in fabrication and welding required, preferably with medium to large weldments in a job shop type environment. * Experience in machining preferred. * Experience with cutting process (Oxyfuel and plasma) * Experience in the application and utilization of ERP systems or other computer systems used to manage projects

Responsibilities

Manage the successful completion of large complex fabrications for submarines by coordinating between customers and the fabrication team. Responsibilities include preparing work instructions, expediting jobs, and managing sales orders within the Epicor ERP system.
