  • Competitive salary $145,378 - $168,130 p.a, plus superannuation and annual leave loading.

ABOUT US

Legal Aid NSW helps people with their legal problems. We can help people with most areas criminal law, family law and every day civil law legal issues. We give legal advice, help at court and do family dispute resolution. We can do this over the telephone or at one of our 28 offices.
Legal Aid NSW also manages service agreements with non-government organisations to deliver legal and non-legal services across NSW.

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will possess exceptional stakeholder management skills, extensive experience in facilitation and strong program management skills. You will have knowledge of the legal assistance sector and an ability to identify unmet legal needs in a regional setting.
We’re looking for someone who is not only self-managed and resilient but also warm, people-oriented, and engaging in their approach. Your ability to build genuine relationships and lead with empathy will be key to your success in this role.
This position is based in Sydney, and while we welcome applications from candidates located in regional areas, regular travel to Sydney is required. You will be supervising a team member based in Sydney and must also be available to regularly travel to regional NSW locations.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Cooperative Legal Service Delivery (CLSD) Program is a regionally-based approach to legal service delivery that aims to improve access to legal services in regional areas of NSW. It does this by building local partnerships between legal and related non-legal agencies in regional NSW.
The CLSD Program aims to improve access to legal services by coordinating services delivered by regional legal and related human service providers in a way that meets the needs of individual clients and communities, while making the best use of available resources.
The Manager, Cooperative Legal Service Delivery is responsible for managing the program in 12 regions of New South Wales.

THE ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE

You must:

  • Be willing to travel throughout NSW
  • Hold a driver’s license
  • be willing to do a Criminal Record Check
  • hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency
  • live in NSW or willing to relocate to NSW
