Description

IMBA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead the tracking, management, and strategic improvement of our work with communities and organizations across North America. This role will be pivotal in ensuring seamless communication, effective resource allocation, and measurable progress in our mission to create, enhance, and protect great places to ride mountain bikes. The Project Manager will oversee the internal work of the community progress shop along with the associated tools, reporting systems, and engagement strategies that align with IMBA’s strategic goals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Environmental Studies, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in project management, nonprofit operations, or community engagement—outdoor recreation experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, project management software and Google Workspace
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
  • Passion for mountain biking, outdoor recreation, and community building.
