The Opportunity
We are seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for the successful delivery of significant substation and renewable energy projects.
Reporting to the Program Manager, you will work with a wider team of experienced Project Managers and play a key role in executing all project specific plans, ensuring projects are delivered safely whilst maximising client satisfaction and efficient resource usage.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Execute all Project specific plans in line with PMBOK principles
  • Take ownership of projects
  • Control project programming, cost, time, quality, purchasing, contract administration, general site administration and the activities of sub-contractors.
  • Manage overall safety, quality and environment on project
  • Authorise construction planning, programming, and on-site completion schedules.
  • Liaise with the Construction Manager / Supervisor regularly to monitor project progress and manage issues as they arise.
  • Monitor and manage project costs and forecasts to budget. Take corrective action early and report on a timely basis

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL POSSESS:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience managing projects at a medium to high value in either energy, utilities or renewables valued up to $30mill or higher
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong in project delivery and advanced communication skills
  • Ability to plan, monitor and control project activities with a focus on client requirements, productivity, cost and quality
  • High level business and commercial acrumen
  • Experience in renewables or high voltage would be highly regarded
  • Flexible to travel as required
