About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Security Project Manager to oversee end-to-end delivery of high-value electronic security installations. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage high-profile client relationships, and ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery: Direct the planning, execution, and commissioning of integrated security solutions, including CCTV (VMS), Access Control, Alarm Systems, and Perimeter Protection.
- Commercial Management: Manage project budgets, scope, variation requests, progress claims, and resource allocation to ensure optimal profitability.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for tier-1 builders, enterprise clients, consultants, and internal engineering teams.
- Subcontractor & Team Leadership: Supervise on-site technicians, subcontractors, and engineers, ensuring strict adherence to site safety, quality assurance, and project timelines.
- Risk & Compliance: Identify potential project risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and enforce compliance with NSW Security Licensing standards and WHS legislation.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven track record as a Project Manager within the electronic security or system integration sector in Australia.
- In-depth technical understanding of major enterprise security platforms (e.g., Genetec, Milestone, Lenel, Inner Range Integriti, Gallagher, Honeywell).
- Valid NSW Security License (Class 2C or equivalent/capable of obtaining).
- Demonstrated commercial acumen, with strong experience managing project financials, contracts, and variation processes.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and written/verbal communication skills.
- White Card and valid Australian Driver’s License.
