On behalf of our aviation client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager - Cyber Security for a 1-year contract role.

PROJECT MANAGER - CYBER SECURITY - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Project Manager - Cyber Security will oversee several cybersecurity projects, leading cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards. This role involves executing a stage-gated process and implementing detailed project plans to deliver valuable cybersecurity enhancements.

PROJECT MANAGER - CYBER SECURITY - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • 7+ years of experience managing IT cybersecurity projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience in leading cybersecurity projects in mission-critical environments.
  • Proven experience with NIST and CIS cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Experience managing formal cybersecurity audits.
  • Strong project management methodologies and budget management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

PROJECT MANAGER - CYBER SECURITY – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • PMP certification or equivalent.
  • Experience in cybersecurity projects for airports or critical infrastructure.
  • Background in the aviation or transportation industry.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific data standards and regulations.
  • Experience with the NIST maturity model.
Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate cybersecurity projects, including scope, timelines, budget, and resources.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project requirements and objectives.
  • Develop and manage project schedules and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Track project budget and ensure delivery within allocated budget.
  • Conduct project team meetings to address issues and risks.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure adherence to standards.
  • Manage stakeholder communications and report on project status.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Manage 3rd party performance and deliverables.
