The Project Manager is responsible for planning, organising, and directing the completion of projects while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget, and within.
This position reports to the Technical Manager and is part of the Cytiva Portsmouth Technical Office located in Walton Road, Portsmouth and will be an on-site role.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Project Manage contract work from inquiry through to completion and communicate with customer to manage submissions, design reviews etc.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of projects to external and internal customers, including budgetary, technical and scheduling indications at regular review meetings
  • Control all Project Engineering documentation, ensuring customer requirements, relevant design standards/codes and internal procedures are known and communicated, relevant from initial inquiry to contract completion
  • Support and, if necessary, lead engineering solutions to internal non-conformances, customer issues and engineering change requests within agreed timescales
  • Use internal processes and systems to standardise our approach to both Engineering and Project Management

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

  • Hold full clean UK driving licence
  • Willing to work occasional unsociable hours to meet business needs
  • Willing to travel abroad occasionally to meet business need
