Summary / Objective As a Project Manager for Dynamics 365, you will lead, manage and deliver D365 implementation, upgrade, integration, or migration projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and budget, and meet quality expectations. You will act as the link between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners/vendors to ensure project success. Key Responsibilities Lead full lifecycle D365 projects (requirements gathering, planning, execution, testing, deployment, go-live, support). Define project scope, deliverables, work breakdown structure (WBS), milestones, and success criteria. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource allocation, budgets, and forecasts. Manage change control, escalate issues, track risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Coordinate and manage internal teams (functional consultants, developers, testers, architects) and external vendors/partners. Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders—business users, sponsors, executives—and communicate project status (milestones, risks, issues) regularly. Ensure quality through reviews, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and post-implementation audits. Oversee data migration, integration, and system configuration aspects, ensuring alignment with business requirements. Drive adoption—training, documentation, and knowledge transfer. Conduct post-project review / “lessons learned” sessions and continuous improvement. Support pre-sales efforts: scoping, proposals, estimations, and techno-functional assessments. Maintain alignment with Microsoft’s best practices, D365 roadmap, and industry standards. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 5+ to 8+ years of project management experience in ERP/CRM implementations (depending on seniority). Proven experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Engagement, Business Central, Field Service, etc.) in one or more modules. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), agile and waterfall methodologies. Certification in project management (PMP, Prince2, Agile/Scrum) is highly desirable. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (written, verbal, presentations). Strong leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills. Ability to manage multiple streams/projects concurrently. Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Azure DevOps, JIRA, etc.) and Microsoft Office suite. Experience with data migration tools, integration platforms, and middleware (e.g. SSIS, Azure Integration Services) is a plus. Familiarity with change management, user adoption strategies, and training. Willingness to travel (if required) and work with geographically dispersed teams. Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills Prior consulting or systems integrator experience with D365 projects. Experience with ISV solutions, third-party add-ons, or customisation. Exposure to Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Dataverse).
