Job Specification: Project Manager, Data & Analytics Solutions Team: Data Science & Analytics Location: Jakarta (Work from office) The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to lead the successful deployment of our bespoke dashboard and reporting solutions for key clients. You will be the central hub of our project delivery, acting as the primary liaison between external client stakeholders and our internal team of Data Engineers and Business Intelligence Specialists. This is a high-visibility role where you will be empowered to own the project lifecycle from kickoff to final delivery. Your primary mission is to ensure that our innovative data solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and to a standard of quality that exceeds client expectations, directly contributing to client retention and growth. Key Responsibilities: End-to-End Project Governance: Own and manage the entire project lifecycle, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget tracking. Proactively monitor and report on project milestones and deliverables using tools like Jira, Asana, or similar. Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for the client. Lead status meetings, manage expectations, and communicate project progress, risks, and changes in a clear and consistent manner. Technical Liaison: Translate client business requirements into clear, actionable technical tasks for the data engineering and BI teams. Conversely, articulate technical challenges and dependencies back to non-technical stakeholders. Team Coordination & Facilitation: Organize and lead project meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Act as a "servant leader" to remove blockers and ensure the technical team has what they need to succeed. Risk & Quality Assurance: Proactively identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Coordinate the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process with the client to ensure the final solution meets all agreed-upon requirements. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience. 3+ years of proven experience in project management, specifically within a technology-focused environment. Expertise with project management software (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana, MS Project). Exceptional client-facing communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders with competing priorities and keep projects on track. Preferred Qualifications: Direct experience managing projects in the data warehousing, business intelligence, data analytics, or machine learning space is strongly preferred. Experience working in a consulting or client-services agency environment. Familiarity with the modern data stack and its concepts. Understand terms like ETL/ELT, data modeling, API, GCP, BigQuery, Power BI, and Tableau mean in a project context. Experience creating and managing Statements of Work (SOWs) and handling change request processes. A demonstrated ability to grasp technical concepts quickly and communicate them to both technical and non-technical audiences.
