At AECOM, we are currently seeking a Project Manager:Data Center to join our Dublin office. The Opportunity As a Project Manager specialising in data centres and colocation facilities, you will lead the successful delivery of mission-critical projects across Northern Ireland. You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle — from early-stage concept and design development through procurement, construction, and commissioning — ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of performance, reliability, and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Leading the end-to-end delivery of data centre and colocation projects, from initial concept and design through procurement, construction, and commissioning Directing multidisciplinary teams to successfully deliver complex, mission-critical projects in line with programme, cost, and quality targets Serving as the primary client interface, ensuring clear communication and alignment with technical, operational, and commercial objectives Assuming full accountability for project outcomes, including risk management, change control, and governance across all phases Managing contractor performance and site operations, including oversight of construction activities and commissioning within both live and new-build environments Controlling project budgets, schedules, and reporting processes, maintaining strong financial discipline and programme certainty throughout Qualifications What We’re Looking For The successful candidate will bring experience within the buildings sector, along with the following qualifications and professional credentials: A postgraduate qualification in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline Currently working towards Chartered status with one of the following professional bodies: RICS / CIOB / ICE / RIBA / Engineers Ireland Membership or affiliation with APM would be advantageous Additional Information Interested in the role or curious about life at AECOM?
