You’ll partner with Superintendents and self-perform crews to deliver jobs safely, on time, and profitably while living Deacon’s core values of Integrity, Teamwork, and Commitment to Excellence.   Key Responsibilities * Financial performance – build detailed budgets, track cost codes, approve invoices, and guard positive margins. * Schedule management – develop rapid-turn schedules; issue look-ahead updates and recovery plans. * Contract administration – negotiate subcontracts, ensure strict compliance with scopes, specs, and owner contracts. * Client & partner relations – cultivate long-term relationships with owners, architects, and trade partners; provide transparent, timely reporting. * Team leadership – manage, train, and mentor project engineers and coordinators; foster a collaborative, accountable atmosphere. * Risk & quality – drive RFIs, submittals, change orders, QA/QC, inspections, and testing. * Close-out – compile as-builts, warranties, O&M manuals, and final accounting for a smooth turnover.   Qualifications & Skills * Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. * 3+ years managing commercial construction projects (TI, interiors, or special projects preferred). * Solid grasp of estimating, scheduling, contract law, and construction means & methods. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with MS Project, Procore, or similar PM tools. * Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills—able to juggle multiple priorities with urgency.
