Job Title: Project Manager
Location: On-site Fridley, MN
Industry: Defense / Military Vehicles
Pay/Duration: 75.00 per hour W-2 Contract / 12 months plus / possible direct hire
Required: 8 years of Project Management / 1 year in a DOD environment / PMP Certification / BS Degree
KEY SKILLS: CAM (Control Account Management) / Leading and directing large-scale projects / EVM (Earned Value Management) / Project Performance / MS Project / PM Compass / OpenPlan

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with project planning, coordination, and execution, as well as providing general administrative support to the engineering team.

  • Lead project planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting
  • Manage control accounts, including maintaining earned value measures
  • Track and report on project progress, identifying and escalating any issues or concerns
  • Coordinate communication between team members, stakeholders, and external partners
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams on CAM-related activities, including variance analysis and corrective action
  • Assist with project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and project status reports
  • Develop and maintain project management tools and templates to support project delivery
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, to ensure effective project execution
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills, with ability to work effectively with senior leadership, engineering managers, and teams
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel
