Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity exists for you as a Project Manager - Youth Participation for a fixed term period until 30 June 2027.

As the Project Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Development of a new integrated Youth Justice Education online platform that will capture information about the education engagement of young people at risk of or engaging with the youth justice system to track and monitor progress of key interventions, provide a menu of evidence-based interventions and approaches and report on progress/status of a young person at a point in time.
  • Implement and drive governance arrangements to manage risk and ensure this project is completed on time, on budget and to quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively within a team of multidisciplinary staff, providing project management leadership, expert advice and guidance to project team members.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Driving high quality governance frameworks for projects, provides independent monitoring of project performance, identifying root causes, trends and good practices for improving project outcomes.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with senior leadership and stakeholders acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Ensuring effective management of stakeholders throughout project delivery, including appropriate consultation on design functionality, facility operation and transition issues.
