Responsibilities

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Responsible for managing all phases of delivery for new and extended housing primarily remote communities from planning,
    pre-construction through to construction delivery and handover.
  2. Perform responsibilities of Principal Project Officer or the Superintendent for housing capital works contracts ensuring
    compliance with contract conditions.
  3. Ensure housing construction projects are delivered within budget and timeframe including monitoring quality assurance of
    construction in challenging and complex remote environment settings.
  4. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with contractors and stakeholders throughout project lifecycle.
  5. Conduct site visits to construction projects and ensure the project is being delivered within scope, conducting pre-handover
    inspections on new and extended constructed homes.
  6. Regularly update relevant data and reporting systems and ensuring a high standard of accuracy is maintained.
  7. Principal source of technical advice and community specific issues in regard to the new construction and extensions of homes.
