Description

To manage the field construction operations to meet the delivery requirements of the project in accordance to agreed schedule. To manage the day-to-day operations of the Local and Metropolitan Area Voice/Data Networking infrastructure, plans organizes resource allocations according to rollout plan. Supervises, hires, trains, and evaluates telecommunications staff; ensures seamless execution of departmental policies, procedures and customer satisfaction. Recommends changes to processes, policies, and metrics to facilitate the improvement of department performance.
Requirements

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

PMP, CAMP or PRINCE2 certification and basic ITIL knowledge is an advantage
Maintaining confidentiality of work-related information and materials.
Effectively supervising, leading, and delegating tasks and authority.
Effectively translating and applying advanced technical documentation and principles.
Maintaining an established work schedule and providing on-call assistance, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Effectively using interpersonal and communications skills including tact and diplomacy.
Effectively using organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow through.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in telecommunication industry preferably in a Telecommunication rollout project.
Conceptual and analytical thinking and working, application of project management techniques.
Very good knowledge of professional project management
Fluent German (C1) and (very) good English (B2) skills written and spoken.
Should have Full driving License.

Responsibilities

· The Project Manager is responsible for the area of operation within the implementation/deployment and operations of the project.
· Provide guidance to subordinate supervisors or professionals to achieve project goals in accordance with established department policies.
· Develop the section goals and strategies in conjunction with the team in order to obtain results.
· To ensure construction progress adheres to project timelines to achieve the ready for service (RFS) and installation acceptance date agreed with the customer.
· Establishing and promoting initiatives to improve day to day project operations.
· Manage and co-ordinate daily activities using available resources.
· Perform evaluations of direct reports on the project & give regular feedback to Line Management
· Ensure Health and Safety guidelines are enforced & adhered to during project duration.
· Manage, co-ordinate & evaluate vendors as per agreed scope of work.
· Special Focus on Resource control cost, Improvements, Organizational Cost controls, Time Reporting Discipline, Thought Leadership, Add on Sales, maintain Project Budget.
· Resolve any issues related to implementation of the project.
· Regularly reports to the COO on implementation performance.
· Identify and plan Training requirements (internal or external) for developing/enhancing staff skills and ensuring training plan timely implementation.
· Lead teams on ground with creative and innovative actions and solutions for higher productivity
· Ensure all risk assessments are carried out and recorded.
· Ensure all site equipment is fit for purpose and calibrated.
· Ensure customer satisfaction of the customer.
· Delivery of facilities within schedule
· Local contact in the construction phase for municipal institutions, authorities and external
· Installation within the standard specification
· Installation cost within budget
· Rectification of deficiency within agreed schedule
· OHS driver within the project team
· Project responsible for overall budget and profitability
· Overall quality assurance of the project.
· Include a requirement that the candidate should be familiar with local German laws related to construction industry and HSE.
· Will be responsible to train new inducted PMs for client procedures and processes, if required.
· Will be responsible to manage on site Project Managers for their KPIs
