Summary
We are looking for a “Project Manager Development (f/m/d)” for the “Sights” development area at the Wetzlar site as soon as possible.
Within the “Sights” development area, various disciplines such as software
disciplines such as software, optics, electronics and mechanics are combined to develop high-quality, hand-held optronic vision systems. Our observation devices combine information from multiple sensors operating at visible and infrared wavelengths to provide the user with reliable information even under the most difficult conditions and ensure the success of their mission.

Your Tasks

  • Project management as a technical sub-project manager in development
  • Coordination of quantity structures, budget monitoring and participation in the preparation of offers
  • Time, quality & cost management including reporting
  • Control and supervision of external development services and organization of corresponding reviews
  • Supporting the implementation of internal reviews as part of the development process
  • Interface with the relevant system-related development departments and other specialist development teams
  • Coordination of development services with purchasing / quality / production / documentation / logistics experts

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in the field of engineering, industrial engineering with a technical specialization or comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in project management, ideally in an agile environment or in development projects
  • Several years of experience in dealing with national and international contractors, subcontractors and cooperation partners
  • Experience in working with SAP
  • Knowledge of other technical disciplines such as mechanics, optics and electronics and their interaction in products
  • Very structured, self-organized and analytical way of working
  • Very good coordination, presentation and persuasion skills
  • Willingness to take responsibility, ability to work in a team and motivational skills
  • Very good knowledge of German and business fluent English
