As our Project Manager in the Craft & Corporate division, you’ll apply your E&I expertise and leadership skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously—turning plans into reality while developing the teams around you. Your work will directly contribute to FLINT’s 100-year legacy of building critical infrastructure that serves communities across Canada.
Reporting directly to the District Manager, you will utilize your 5+ years of experience managing mechanical projects to lead the successful execution of each project. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive project plans and systems, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budget while receiving strategic support from the District Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education in business management, project management, or other related technical fields; a Journeyperson certificate is a must.
  • Experience managing the E&I aspects of brownfield/greenfield construction, pipelines, and plant shutdowns.
  • Ability to read and interpret Requests for Proposals (RFPs), as well as technical, electrical, and instrumentation drawings.
  • Proficient in utilizing systems for estimating, scheduling, and project management.
  • Experience analyzing project and operational financial data, with the ability to implement performance action plans to improve results.
Responsibilities
  • Interface with client representatives throughout project development, execution, and completion to ensure clear communication and alignment.
  • Execute contracts according to the client’s requirements and specifications, ensuring the scope of work, terms, and conditions are understood and communicated to management.
  • Oversee multiple projects, ensuring execution plans are developed and implemented to meet project goals and objectives.
  • Assist in developing the original budget, managing changes, determining progress, and generating accurate forecasts.
  • Provide direction to the Project Controls group, formally evaluating performance, offering feedback, and resolving any performance-related issues.
  • This role will require significant time in the field.
