East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service are embarking on a journey of transformational change focused in 3 areas (Customer Risk Management Plan (CRMP), Future Foundations, and Financial Sustainability.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join our team and lead on several projects within these programmes, delivering change to the organisation and supporting the wider transformational change of the organisation, working across ESFRS to deliver their outcomes and requirements.
The successful candidate must have an appropriate professional qualification or degree and/or at project management experience both in the public and private sector. Applicants must have a demonstrable track record of delivering high quality and complex projects within pressurised environments.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and reporting skills are required for this role, alongside excellent knowledge of project governance, risk/issue identification and management, and the full change lifecycle, from idea/inception, through business case development and delivery, to handover, sustainability and benefits realisation.
The successful candidate will be working alongside colleagues across the organisation, supporting the most ambitious change transformation programme ever undertaken by ESFRS. This is a tremendous opportunity for someone to join us, lead significant change, and ensure the organisation is ready for the future of the fire service.
The successful candidate will be required to complete a standard DBS check.
